Classically trained tenor with 20 years in off-B'way theater doing experimental performance looking for people to play with.

Sang last weekend with Mothers Anger at Burning Man San Francisco Decom, improvised white-boy raga at Hookahdome up on the playa, love Noh-style vocalization and working with electronic musicians... also play keyboards and computers.

If you get a chance, you should take in
the Loopers Delight 10th Anniversary Celebration as part of the
Y2K6 International Live Looping Festival on Friday, October
    10th in Oakland.

times and directions are here: www.y2k6loopfest.com

I will be doing an all acapella performance with the incomparable singer,
Amy X Neuburg using all the latest in live looping technology.

I say this because a lot of really exciting stuff is occuring in the live looping world, viz a vis, vocals.

I produced a concert a few years back called the Festival of Voice and Electronics where the lion share of the electronic processing artists were using live looping technics to process the 10 different singers that I showcased (from concertizing opera singers to
death metal singers; avante garde classical singers to tuvan overtone singers, pop singers to industrial beatboxers.

We have a tribe here called Voice and Electronics that you might want to come join. There are a lot of different and intriquing singers
in the bay area working with this paradigm.

There will be three acapella singers playing the Y2K6 main festival in Santa Cruz on october 21 and 22nd.

50 artists from 5 countries will perform on those two days..................come on down and check it out, Blue and meet some really cool artists that might want to collaborate with you.

    yours, sincerely, Rick Walker

Sorry to miss the Loopers Delight. I have heard a couple of Amy X Neuberg's performances. I enjoyed them thoroughly, and have actually intended since then to get into looping if I could ever afford to get a laptop. I envy you a bit for having a chance to perform with her!

Thanks for telling me about Voice and Electronics, which I am joining.
